The 4EU+ Alliance invites proposals for the second round of SEED4EU+
The 4EU+ Alliance is pleased to announce the launch of the second round of the SEED4EU+ initiative, a programme dedicated to providing seed funding for innovative projects that enhance cooperation among the 4EU+ member universities.
With a particular emphasis on research activities, this call seeks to fund the implementation of novel ideas and contribute to the realisation of the 4EU+ mission. Academic staff at the eight member universities of the Alliance are encouraged to submit joint, innovative proposals that will significantly impact the strengthening of 4EU+, our strategic partnership, and broaden the engagement of all 4EU+ university communities in developing our One Comprehensive Research-Intensive European University.
Key details of the SEED4EU+ call
- Eligibility: Researchers and academics who hold a PhD and are affiliated with one of the eight 4EU+ universities. Proposals must include participants from at least three of the 4EU+ member universities.
- Funding: Up to 50,000 euros per project (funded directly from the budgets of 4EU+ member universities).
- Duration: Projects can run for up to 12 months, with an expected start date of 1 January 2025.
- Application deadline: 30 September 2024.
- Scope: The call is open to all academic disciplines, with proposals required to fit thematically into at least one of the 4EU+ Flagships. Proposals with a strong research focus are particularly encouraged, though educational projects are also eligible.
To provide further information and answer any questions, an information session will be held on 21 June 2024 from 15:00 to 16:00. Interested applicants are encouraged to register for the session by 19 June, 20:00.
