Range of diploma courses
Sorbonne University has a range of university degree courses that may be useful for the career plans of some doctoral candidates. As an example: the DU-GBM degree in Biological and Medical Engineering. Its purpose is to learn about the social, economic and biomedical regulatory environment in order to promote research or to work with or in the Health industries.
Within the framework of Sorbonne University's partnership with INSEAD, doctoral candidates, whatever their discipline, can study for the "Business Foundations Certificate" programme. Through 9 modules (strategy, marketing management, organisational behaviour, financial accounting, cost accounting, prices and markets, new business projects and entrepreneurship, financial markets and evaluation, uncertainty, data and judgement), this training provides doctoral candidates with a set of tools in the fields of business that complement their training through research. Access to this training is selective, and doctoral candidates of the Alliance SU can apply for a grant to cover part of the registration fees.
