2023 4EU+ Mini-Grants for Academics
Become a part of a multinational team by expressing your interest in Charles University's 2023 mini-grants, via the 4EU+ European University Alliance.
-
From November 29th to January 6th
Charles University supports research collaboration within the 4EU+ Alliance via so-called mini-grants: seed funding for teams from 4EU+ universities developing projects in the Flagships.
The project must involve at least three 4EU+ member universities (Charles University + Heidelberg Universität, Sorbonne Université, Københavns Universitet, Université de Genève, Università degli Studi di Milano and Uniwersytet Warszawski.)
While the applicant must be an employee of Charles University, foreign partners wishing to collaborate can do so by submitting a “Letter of intent”. It should be signed by the project team leaders at participating partner institutions as well as by the head of their departments. There is no template for this letter.
Colleagues at the partner universities should inform their university/faculty about their involvement in the project according to the standard procedure at their institution.
Supported activities must be aimed at submitting an application for external funding and ensuring long-term sustainability of the cooperation. Projects have to be in line with the 4EU+ Mission statement and must be thematically connected to one of the 4EU+ Flagships:
- Urban Health and Demographic Change
- Europeanness: multilingualism, pluralities, citizenship
- Digitisation – Modelling - Transformation
- Environmental transitions
The deadline for submitting requests for support is 6 January 2023. Letters of intent should be sent to 4euplus@cuni.cz.
