The Sorbonne University Foundation is mobilising to finance current and future research into the coronavirus and similar viruses.

In the framework of the urgency of the SARS-Cov2 epidemic, research teams at Sorbonne University have been working tirelessly for several weeks to ensure that their work makes effective progress.

An exceptional budget of €500,000 has been made available, but researchers need more money to go faster and be more efficient.

We are facing an unprecedented epidemic. We must act quickly. Research teams are beyond mobilised.
Now is the time to give!

Five main priorities were chosen by the working group set up by Professor Bruno Riou, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine of Sorbonne University and Medical Director of Crisis Medical Director on COVID-19 for the PA-HP.

  • Epidemiological studies
  • Translational Studies
  • Pathophysiological studies
  • Clinical research and infection prevention, care and control measures in health care and community settings
  • Ethics/Human and Social Sciences
