Discounts on open access publication fees

Certain contracts signed with scientific journal publishers for access to content, negotiated for higher education and research establishments by the Couperin consortium, now include an open access publication dimension.

Publishers sometimes offer discounts to institutions for publishing articles in their open access and hybrid journals.
These discounts are applied to the public price of the APC (article processing charges) for researches affiliated to the subscribing institution.
Here is a table summarising the publishers with a subscription contract with Sorbonne University offering this type of discount.
